How often and what day do you usually ride?
- We normally ride on either Saturday or Sunday and the dates and times are
posted on the website under *Calendar*. There are
also special occasions when we do charity escorts and these events are
normally know well in advance and are also posted.
When and how often are your meetings?
- We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the Rice University Police
Department Law Enforcement Training Center located in the 2100 blk of
University Blvd. (Entrance #8 Stockton @ University Blvd.). We meet at
7:00 PM and the meetings will
last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. We have our meeting and then go for a
ride to eat lunch. Bike or car depending on the weather.

Are you the only Chapter in the Houston area?
- That's depends on what you call the Houston area!
Chapter XXXI is
located in Galveston, Chapter VI in Brazoria County (email
Mike Gringrich) and Chapter
XXXIII in Conroe.
If you are adjacent to the city limits of Houston, then Chapter VII is most
probably your closest.
Are members required to make a certain number of meetings or rides.

No. We have a member that now lives
in Canada but still remains a member of Texas Chapter VII. As long as
your dues are current, your a member. You can ride as many or as few
rides as you like. Some of us work on the weekend and cannot ride except
on special occasions or vacation time.
